It’s car show season and new car models are being displayed at car shows across the country. Along with the new car models comes auto recalls. Major recalls are always featured on the news, online and in print. Unfortunately, smaller recalls often go unnoticed by the media. Here’s a recent recall from Chrysler (FCA US LLC).
Chrysler recently announced a recall affecting 1,242 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokees.
The Recall Problem:
Fuel line separation may cause fire. If the fuel line separates, the engine may stall, increasing the risk of a crash. Also a fuel line separation increases the risk of engine compartment fire and injury.

Chrysler dealers will inspect (as necessary) and replace the fuel line free of charge.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners on March 2, 2018. If you own this vehicle and want to know if your vehicle is part of the recall, contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. The Chrysler recall number is U02.
