In today’s auto news, Mercedes Benz has announced a major recall affecting 79 popular models from the luxury auto brand. Combined, the recalls affect 744,852 vehicles!
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC. (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2001-2011 vehicles. The bonding between the glass panel and the sliding roof frame may deteriorate, possibly resulting in the glass panel detaching from the vehicle. A detached glass panel can detach from the vehicle and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
There’s a total of 79 models affected by this recall including CLK 320 (2003-2005), CLK350 (2006-2009), C230 (2003-2007), C240 (2001-2005) and E320 (2003-2009).
